Brazilian Wax @ The Brow Studio SM Dasmarinas

Ok its been months since my last post. These past few weeks.. I've been tempting to get a Brazilian Wax. Yes! I really wanted to try it. I'm crazy when it comes to beauty stuff. Been searching for days where to get it. And the vote is always STRIP Ministry of Waxing. But its too far from my place. But they said it is really worth to try it there specially if your a BRAZILIAN WAX VIRGIN.

One day when we were strolling around SM Dasma. I saw this newly opened salon called
THE BROW STUDIO.

I check it out if there offering Brazilian Wax and they Do!

Here are there pricelist (copied it from their facebook)

The Next Day I went back to inquire. They have 2 types of wax
one is Carmel Warm Wax(P568) and the other is GIGI Hot Wax (P768)

Their staff was friendly and accommodating.
I ask which one is better..and they told me GIGI Hot Wax is better because it came from
abroad.

I told them I would come back because I was still undecided and a little scared of the pain.
After thinking too much... I went for it.

I forgot to take pictures when I went back inside the salon because I was too nervous and a little shy.
They told me to get inside in one of their rooms or cubicle..
(I'll take pictures when I get back!)

The room is actually a little small compare to Lay Bare SM Dasma City
Actually their whole shop is too small
and nothing fancy. Its actually beside this diamond shop on the 2nd floor of SM Dasma City
I don't like their interior design by the way it gave me a headache.. sort of like
(F.R.I.E.N.D.S) joey's quote "my eyes" "my eyes" :))

Anyway back to what happened...
The friendly staff ask me to take off my pants and panties or any lower part clothing.
2 attendants did the procedure.

I was really shy but they comfort me and told me to relax and not be shy because they
see this stuff everyday and they were trained for 4 months.

The procedure lasted for 20 - 30mins I guess. It did hurt on some part. But I tolerated the procedure
well. So for my first Brazilian Wax, It was not bad at all. But the downside...
It was not very clean.
. I still saw  pieces of small strands of hair.
I do hope on my second session their service would improved.
I did not saw if the double dip or use any gloves.

I went home and feel a little sore and a little burning sensation  down there.
But after 12 hours. The pain was gone.
Im still happy with the result.

PROS for me:
*Friendly Accommodating Staff
(a plus for me! Ayoko ng MASUSUNGIT na staff. utang na loob!)
* Clean Area
*They use different cloths. that made the work easier and less painful
*Price is mid range
*Pain was tolerable. I like hot wax better.

CONS:
*Not very clean. There were strays of hair left
*Place is a little small. I had a hard time spreading my legs in the cubicle area.
*They don't offer anything such as wipes before the procedure. Good thing
I bought one.
*There were still wax left after the procedure that kept sticking with my panty! ugh...

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS SALON BRANCH? Yes.
WILL I RETURN? Yes.
MY OVERALL RATING: 4/5

Cheap Escape: Nuvali Trip

Our Little Hanikah Graduated!
Yehey!
After her graduation we were opting for some nice dinner like a buffet or a classy restaurant.
But Hubby doesn't want to go to manila or moa(my first choice)
So NUVALI just pop in my head!
We never been there before, so we had no idea how to get there except to
drive through SLEX.
We ask question at the binan exit, they told us to exit ETON CITY.
Well it was easier to find, and was near tagaytay!
When we got there I was really hungry. Craving for pizza.
So Yellow Cab it is.. my fave!

At Nuvali

there is a fish feeding area where you can buy fish food and feed lots of fishy..

war of the fishes! survival of the fittest!

if these were piranhas..... it would really be great!

fish food for only P15.00!

Fish feeding was fun! especially when they are killing each other! haha.kidding.
A little yucky when they are piling up to get fed!

Another fun part, The Boat Riding! and it was only P30/head..

So there it is... Our little Cheap but Fun Trip.

To get there..
Via SLEX. Exit Eton City.
Or Tagaytay, left turn Mahogany market then drive straightforward.

D.I.Y Dollhouse

Hello!
My little Hanikah is graduating. So me and hubby decided to give her a
big doll house, atleast as tall as her.
I search for dollhouse in sulit.com and malls but I can't find something that I like.
The one thing that I did is from kidcraft

But the Price? WOW!
P5000 - P7000
Since I cannot afford something like that and Im too practical for stuff
like this, I search for diy dollhouse through google.
And so I thought we can have someone make something like this.
Like a wood factory, I saw a lot of this in near our place(cavite)
So hubby and I canvass from different cabinet makers, And we found one that
fits in our pocket.

After 3 days the dollhouse was made. Hubby will be the one to paint it and
im the interior designer.

Here it is!

First white coating

2nd coating baby pink

a little design

Still we have a lot of more work to do.

Will update this post once its finish!

Red Engine Burger Tagaytay

This is my first Food Post.
Its been a while since I posted in blogger.
Honestly, im not really good in blogging.

Ok.lets cut the chase.
Hubby wanted to treat us to Red Engine Burger.

Red engine is located at Sky Ranch Tagaytay.
We went there Saturday and there were a lot of people.
I ordered their burger with cream cheese.
Their burger is really appealing to the eyes since it has a bloody red bun.
It was really big kinda like Zarks burger.
But honestly I did not like it. maybe I just chose the wrong flavor.
But I love Cream Cheese!
Zarks is much better and way cheaper.
Even hubby did not really like it.

We did love the fries with garlic mayo sauce and Blue Lemonade!

PRICE RANGE:
p300 - p500
per burger. you have to P50 - P80 for fries and drink.

TASTE:
2.5/5
